Maligne Starry Sky
December 18th, 2009
Maligne Lake is a lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is approximately 22.5 km (14 mi) long and 97 m (318 ft) at its deepest point.
The name Maligne is French for 'wicked', and was used by Father Pierre-Jean De Smet (1801-1873) to describe the treacherous river that flows from the lake. The name soon spread to the lake, canyon, pass, mountain and range.

Route to Castle Mountain
August 18th, 2009
Castle Mountain is located within Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, approximately half-way between Banff and Lake Louise. Visitors usually only pull over to take pictures of wild animals, so they were kind of distracted when they saw me kneeing in the middle of the road, aiming towards Castle Mountain. :-D

Evening in Saint Jean de Luz
May 1st, 2010
Saint Jean de Luz is a very quiet village which is perfectly suited for families and ambitious surfers. I took this shot with a Nikon D700 and a Nikkor 14-24mm @ 14mm f/3.5 and only got rid of some elements on the beach to make it a bit more tidy. Otherwise, no alterations.

VanillAlps
December 29th, 2007
I took this picture during a flight from the South of France while we crossed the Swiss Alps. This time, only small Photoshop tweaks have been done, mainly to get rid of the reflections of the window.
