New Driftwood
February 7th, 2010
Newly created version of my classic "Driftwood". This version is much clearer and has no ghosting anymore since I created it from a single RAW image instead of a 3 JPEGs HDR. Enjoy!

I took this photo during a full moon night on the small island Huvafen Fushi / Maldives. It was so bright that you could have easily read a newspaper that night!

Maligne Starry Sky
December 18th, 2009
Maligne Lake is a lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is approximately 22.5 km (14 mi) long and 97 m (318 ft) at its deepest point.
The name Maligne is French for 'wicked', and was used by Father Pierre-Jean De Smet (1801-1873) to describe the treacherous river that flows from the lake. The name soon spread to the lake, canyon, pass, mountain and range.

Lower Falls, Yellowstone
August 11th, 2009
The lower falls at Yellowstone National Park are 308 feet (94 m) high, or almost twice as high as Niagara. They descend from the 590,000 year old Canyon Rhyolite lava flow and are largest volume major waterfall in the Rocky Mountains. I took this photo in August 2009 during my road trip through Montana and Alberta.
